Online Meetings

Week three is very exciting, but overwhelming!

The webinar that I picked was "Twenty Five Technologies to Watch and How...by Steven Abram." The information I learned was vast, exciting and overwhelming; but I know now that I need to talk to my kids ages 24 and 20, they seem to know way more than mom. The thing I learned the most is to pick two or three topics explore them and have FUN doing it! I can see where this is going in the future with meetings, learning, and keeping in touch.

Wow!!

Boy is there a lot to learn about Facebook and the others networking sites. I feel overwhelmed with all the information. LOL I think I have tried all the links but feel I need more practice maybe a little talk with my daughter would help with all the online stuff, she's a whiz.

Hi, everyone finally found a picture that I like to post. I wanted to tell you a little more about myself, I work at Coffey County Library Waverly branch; full-time focusing on storytime and Interlibrary loans.

The storytime children have been learning about penguins, we set up a bulletin board to put our directed art penguins, some are jumping in the air and some are sliding down our hill. (Guess we didn't get enough snow! lol)

Yesterday, I went to a ILL workshop in Garnett, they have a beautiful library. The workshop was on ILL Tips and Tricks put on by SEKLS, it was very informative and I learned a few new tricks about agent.
